Meet our Band Members

BRIAN CALABRO
Drums & Percussion
Brian was born in Quincy into a musical family. His father was a drummer at the Naval Academy of Music in
Washington, D.C., and it was through his influence that Brian began learning to read music, starting with the a
lto saxophone. He took up the drums in 7th grade and later enrolled at Berklee College of Music. Brian was
part of a group called Double Up, which recorded an album at Synchro Sound Studios. He also worked as a
session drummer with Laine Edwards and Roger Badham at the critically acclaimed Blue Jay Studios. His
diverse musical background enables him to play a wide range of music that is woven into the fabric of today’s
sound. In addition to drums, Brian also plays piano and performed for many years at the Common Market
restaurant.

PAUL LIBERTY
Bass & Vocals
Paul grew up in Chelsea, Massachusets. His parents and siblings introduced him to a wide range of culturally
diverse music, from Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong to Motown and rock. He studied jazz at the Community
Music Center of Boston, taking both private and group lessons while performing at various events throughout
Massachusets. Paul received private instruction from renowned bassists Jack Lambert and Tim Archibald and
completed a recording and engineering course in Boston. Throughout his career, Paul has recorded with many
different bands and performed in New England-based groups, such as Viper, Ron Scarle` and The Radicals,
Overstreet, Jamie Shaler on Vacaaon, The Feel, and The Chills. His extensive and varied musical background
greatly influences his playing.

JULIETA MANFREDI
Vocals & Piano
Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Julieta Manfredi is a singer-songwriter and a graduate of Berklee College of
Music, where she majored in Performance and minored in Teaching Contemporary Voice. Completing a master's degree in interdisciplinary studies, she has discovered
a deep passion for sharing music with others, using her voice to tell personal stories that inspire growth and
learning. Her ultimate goal is to connect with listeners who resonate with her experiences—whether joyful or
melancholic—offering comfort and reassurance that no one is alone in their emotions. Julieta’s musical tastes
are deeply rooted in jazz, Latin music, pop, rock, and R&B, all influenced by her cultural background. Over the
years, she has also embraced a variety of other genres, each tied to significant moments and experiences in
her life. This diverse musical foundation shapes her artistry and enables her to connect with a wide range of

ANDRÉS WILSON
Guitar & Vocals
Named after the legendary Spanish guitarist Andrés Segovia, Andrés (also known as Dr. Drés) has been
performing music across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Israel since his teens, spanning genres from
jazz to heavy metal. His debut album, INK & SOUND (2006), was named one of Boston's top five by
Metronome Magazine in 2007. His follow-up acoustic project, Cityscapes and Apparitions, is available on
Bandcamp, and he is currently recording Black Orpheus, an instrumental rock and neo-soul guitar album. In
addition to serving as a pit guitarist for productions such as Mamma Mia! and Jesus Christ Superstar, Andrés is
a prolific sideman, collaborating with a diverse range of artists. These include avant-garde composer and indie
rocker Asia Mei, NYC hip-hop artist Dell Wells, blues singer Jennifer Porter, and Grammy Award-winning
reggae artist King Mas. For the past several years, he has performed with Pocket Change, Rhode Island’s
premier wedding and function band, as well as Jammin’, New England’s Bob Marley tribute band. Andrés teaches English and directs the jazz and pop music
program at The Roxbury Latin School in Boston, where he resides. He holds a B.M. from Berklee College of Music, an M.A. from Columbia
University, and both a second M.A. and a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from UMass-Amherst. When not playing music, Andrés can usually be
found outdoors with his three children, working out, or practicing yoga.

ASIA MEIROVICH
Keyboards/Piano & Vocals
In Asia's world there are no borders and no boundaries; not geographically, not musically. everything musical
asia touches blurs and combines genres and influences. Whether it's her singer/songwriter rock music that
brings serious classical piano skills and masterful arrangements or an orchestral piece that draws on blues or
metal. All is fair game, all is a personal expression. Classically trained as a pianist and choral singer in the
Jerusalem Conservatory, Asia made the change to popular music by obtaining a degree in contemporary
writing and production from Berklee College of Music in Boston. She recently has joined JamKat, which is an
exciting new Boston Based Band that features Argentianian artist Julieta Manfredi. After years of work in the
music industry, Asia obtained a masters in classical composition from the University of Massachusetts
Amherst.
